Birthdays all around!
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of SteelSeries and the 20th anniversary of Blizzard, SteelSeries is holding a campaign where you can get a 50% discount on all World of Warcraft and StarCraft II related products and a 30% discount on all other products.
Waking up, feeling like a living dead even when I had 10 hours of sleep. And arx kept reminding me about it, the whole morning. He says I need to be less weak and survive with less sleep,but I just love sleeping! We met with Manaflask people at 10 am and headed for Gamescom together by tram. The other guys had ate breakfast earlier and went to prepare for the live raid on Blizzard booth. I and arx got to slack and we went for a big breakfast/lunch at a nearby restaurant.
Travelers life, I love it and hate it at the same time. Here we are, sitting next to Laima store in Latvia, Riga's airport and waiting for our connecting flight to Frankfurt, Germany.
I thought that at some point I might grow tired about saying this, but that point isn't just now so I'll just go ahead and say it one more time: I'm pretty excited to see what this weekend (and the next week) brings. As it says on the front page, I and arx will be heading on another trip again, and this time to Germany.
SteelSeries unveiled their World of Warcraft MMO Gaming Mouse Legendary Edition (phew) a few days ago. Some of our guys have actually been testing the prototypes and giving feedback on the mouse and liked the feel of it.
We've got the epic guild names and we've got the goofy ones. We've got ones that make no sense at all.
But does it even matter? If Paragon was called "FluffyBunnyPatrol" or if Inner Sanctum was called "MOARQQPLX" would that impact their success or how we viewed them?
This is the rest of the blog from Assembly Summer event held 4.-7.8.2011 in Helsinki, Finland. A few days late, but the memories are still fresh in our minds.

Since Icecrown Citadel and our Lich King video, we have always paid special attention to the music choices in our videos. Our goal is to make the fights we show to everyone feel truly epic - just like we are feeling when we are learning the fights for the first time, and then closing in on a boss kill.
This time I decided to try something new: writing about the event I attend while it's still going on and not after it when I'm already suffering the post-party feeling. There are pros and cons with this tactics though, one of the downsides is that while I write about what is going on I'm missing out on some of the fun :/
