Is mage not useful enough in HM LK?

hey Paragon,here are my late wishes,congratulations on the World First kill of Lich King 25 HC~~~You guys are so amazing~~
BUT...when I saw the classes list of the battle,I can't find one mage on it....I was so surprised,so can you please tell me why there is no mage? Is mage crappier in this battle when compared to other class in the guild?

I guess it wasn't the best choice for the encounter. It doesn't mean still that "mages are broken" or anything like that. They've just taken the best possible setup for this particular encounter.
