We have been searching for a new logo for almost all the time since we were formed. We are now at the point where we want to get in new ideas; to take everything into consideration before picking out anything. That's why we are now launching an open logo competition together with Steelseries, to find "the one".
Everyone is invited to become a designer and help us out on picking the best possible logo for the guild. Here is some information about the competition:
This is what we'd want from our new logo:
It should be "shape"-driven; the shape should be recognizable as Paragon's logo even without the text Paragon.
There should also be a version with the text "Paragon" with uppercase or lowercase (capital or small letters)
The logo should somehow describe us as a guild, but also be something we can build our brand on. Here are a few words in no spesific order that we think describe our guild (which might help with the design): dedication, perseverance, collaboration, openness, skill, having fun together, diverse, relentless.
Suggestions for the new Paragon logo can be sent to our email at email@example.com. All the entries will be kept private, only the winner will be published on the site. Also, if you get an inspiration feel free to send multiple suggestions. The suggestions should preferably be submitted in vector format. If that's not managable you can still send us a .jpg or .png.
If you decide to take part in the competition and submit your suggestion you'll agree to give Paragon full rights to use and modify your work. We'll also reserve the right to not use any of the suggestions as our new logo, but the best suggestion will be rewarded with a free Steelseries product from theSteelseries webshop whether we end up using it or not. The deadline for the suggestions is 25.3.
We encourage everyone to help us out with this problem, so please let your friends know about the competition as well. Also, even if you don't want to open Paint of Photoshop yourself, we'd be happy to hear what your thoughs on Paragon's new logo are; how it should look like and what it should communicate. So send us all the drafts, sketches, ideas, and thoughs you get! Your entry doesn't have to be a completely polished logo, though it is certainly a bonus!
Thanks for taking interest, we'll be reading our email eagerly. Until 25.3!
